CANCER SCREENING AND HPV CAMPAIGN
Cervical cancer still stands as a concerning challenge to women in Zambia. 28% of patients seen at the Cancer Disease Hospital suffer from cervical cancer. We are embarking on an HPV vaccination campaign which will include a KIT out for cervical cancer screening and a treatment center at UTH in conjunction with the Teal Sisters Foundation. Our beneficiaries are girls between the ages of 9-14 years and all women.
EDUCATION FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE CHANGE
In conjunction with Wildlife Environment Conservation Society of Zambia (WECSZ), we are promoting environmental awareness at State Lodge A Primary School (SLAP), and the rural community in exists. We have collaborated with the school to establish a Chongololo Club to help educate the students in the importance of wildlife and conservation, as well as community understanding of the important of the environment.
